Let's Count to 100: Post 99 - Buses restored to Oxford Circus

Over the past couple of months, bus routes have been diverted to other destinations due to the ongoing roadworks at Oxford Circus. Tomorrow, 5th May 2012 at 5:00am, is the day that the buses are restored back to the original routes. There were multiple route affected by this, including 189.This route is run by Metroline from Cricklewood Garage (W). 189 goes to Brent Cross, linking the North-West on a simple route to Central LondonWhen the roadworks started, 189 along with many others where temporarily extended to Marble Arch. This was an ideal location as it was nearby and easily accessible around the current route.

Recently, the route was then redirected to Oxford Street, Selfridges, which it still currently goes to. This is only for a short time, as tomorrow we return to its normal routing to Oxford Circus
