A tribute to Metrolines T&V Reg TPs By George

In 1999 Metroline Placed an order for 65 Plaxton President Bodied Tridents 9.9m for routes based at Holloway (HT) to help oust out the knackered Volvo Olympians, And these Tridents have served Holloway greatly for almost thirteen years.
13 years worth of hard work taking passengers mainly from the north of London and helping them get to places all over such as: Tottneham Court Rd,London bridge and Victoria there and back many times a day and  like many buses it has taken its toll even though they have been refurbished at some stage in their life they are starting to be a bunch of knackered Tridents and as the LEZ upgrade and 12 year old buses deadline nears. Its time for them to be displaced which has already and slowly started happening across this batch. Which is a shame as these buses were the first Presidents that Metroline ordered also these were the buses which dominated Metroline's early low floor purchases. But there was something special about these buses and their distinctive layout which could only be found on this batch of Tridents as demonstrated on TP13 Below
Route:134 Metroline (HT) TP13 T113 KLD North Finchley 2011

Staircase Positioned in the centre on TP13
Rear Facing seats on TP13
Seats under the staircase also were a feature on early low floor buses
Also the the two baggage spaces were a useful feature
Note the two air Vents on TP13
